Ice Wall

Being on a small expedition ship in Svalbard (formerly known as Spitzbergen), meant that most of the photography would be from a moving surface. I took many photographs of this Ice Wall thinking that most would be blurry. But I just loved all the interesting cracks, holes and rhythms created by fissures. This image has a natural composition and its flatness made me think of a massive abstract painting.
